Emergency Snow Homework ~ 06/01/10
Salaams Kids,
This is an emergency homework message! The school is closed and we can’t afford to waste time as we’ve
got things to do. You know the winter snow actually reminds me of a story about a certain grasshopper and
a colony of ants. But anyway there are a number of things that I need you to do on a daily basis. I’ve set
out below work for every day we’re closed. You don’t need to do anymore than that.
Day 1
- Re write Brother Bilal’s biography. The one’s that we wrote on the whole I wasn’t impressed with.
You need to build up a picture of who he is and what’s gone on in his life. Remember to sequence the events
correctly. Include anecdotes. Explain interesting facts, draw conclusions etc.
- What is the most interesting thing you can make in the snow? Take a picture.
Day 2
- It’s beautiful out there! I wrote a poem about what I was inspired with when I saw a blanket of white
covering the land. Get your pencils out and write a poem, or a narrative on the snow.
- Page 21 and 22 from the maths homework books.
